Kempton of Charleston is Sponsoring a Christmas Tree

Kempton of Charleston is sponsoring a Christmas Tree to benefit Dragon Boat Charleston. They promote the physical and mental wellness of cancer survivors and their community supporters.
Kempton of Charleston is honoring Captain James “Buster” Marion Denny, Sr. He served in the Navy in WWII. He returned to Charleston and became a Harbor Pilot guiding some of the largest container ships into the Charleston Harbor, including the USS Yorktown where she rests today. Captain Denny, Sr. passed away at 93, after his short battle with cancer.
Cathy Denny Mason, his granddaughter and Lisa McLeod, the Director of Sales and Marketing for Kempton of Charleston decorated this beautiful tree. Be sure to visit the Charleston Visitors Center November 15, 2021-January 4, 2022. These beautiful trees will be auctioned off after the event to support Dragon Boat Charleston.
